What is delivery?
Delivery is used to refer to the process that leads to child birth. In other words, it refers to as the end of the pregnancy period as the baby enters into this beautiful world.

So, the types of deliveries are: 

1.      Normal: This is a normal mode of bringing a child into this world through the vaginal passage. This process is only initiated when everything is normal and the woman is in labor. The phase of labor is again divided into the three stages. Those are: 

·         Latent Phase: This is the longest procedure when the contractions become more frequent. This gives rise to the situation of cervix to dilate in which the baby can pass through the birth canal.
·         Active Phase: The dilation of cervix takes place and you would feel more pain in the back and abdomen area. This would increase the urge to push. In this case, doctor suggests holding till cervix is completely open.
·         Transition Phase: This is the situation when the cervix is completely open and the woman would face some of the painful contractions. At this time, the doctor would ask you to push and baby is born through the birth canal.

2.      Cesarean: This is also known as C-section delivery which means giving birth through incision in the woman’s abdomen and uterus. Most of the women now days prefer cesarean delivery over the normal ones as it cause no pain. But, this is conducted only under the unanticipated circumstances.
